Steve Welty is the founder and CEO of Good Life Property Management, one of Southern California’s highest-rated property management companies. Since founding Good Life in 2013, Steve and his team have helped more than 1,400 homeowners enjoy stress-free rental ownership. With a mission of Life Improved, Steve leads a company built on creating opportunity, enjoyment, and lasting impact for clients and the broader community.

With over 15 years of experience in real estate and property management, Steve is a licensed California Real Estate Broker (DRE #01744610) and a well-respected leader in the industry. Prior to launching Good Life, he co-owned a property management firm. He gained firsthand experience into the operational challenges property owners face, and how to solve them with smarter systems, better service, and genuine care.
Steve is also the creator of Housing Heroes, a fast-growing newsletter that shares practical housing reform and educates landlords on market changes, compliance, and better property outcomes. Steve is a vocal proponent of balanced housing laws and uses his platforms to advocate for both tenant protection and property owner success.

Steve earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. His academic foundation in business management and entrepreneurship laid the groundwork for his approach to leadership, team building, and operational excellence. He continues to be a lifelong learner, investing in leadership programs, masterminds, and industry-specific education to stay ahead of market trends and provide forward-thinking service.
